Creative use of fried eggs in bentos

By Olga Davydova

Posted 27 August, 2007 in Kawaii Bento Photos, Kawaii, Food Fun

I’m pretty sure these are the cutest fried eggs you’ve ever seen. What a creative way to cook breakfast! You can try this at home. The faces are apparently made with bits of nori and maybe carrot.

The top photo features a Japanese kawaii character by San-X, Rilakkuma bear’s little chick friend (seen on a superb evening wallet we covered not long ago).

The sources for the images are Exciting character lunch and ayanamadoka

  • I thought I was being so clever making smiling eggs yesterday, but these take it to a whole new level of Kawaii! If people want their children to eat better, this is what they should be feeding them.
