Honey is a great component for beauty products, it’s one of the best natural moisturizers, and it tastes awesome too.
Here are a few tips for homemade honey based beauty products (please make sure you’re not allergic before using these products and consult your doctor if you are not sure, because I’m not responsible for the outcome, these are just tips, not recommendations):
- Honey moisturizing facial mask for dry skin: take 4 oz of honey, 2 egg yolks, 4 oz of vegetable oil, heat the ingredients a bit and blend them thoroughly, apply the mask, rinse off with warm water, reapply every 5 minutes and rinse off again.
- Honey and eggs facial mask for oily skin: take two egg whites, 3/8 cup of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of almond oil, 2 tablespoons of oatmeal powder, mix everything, add oatmeal, apply the mask, hold for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off with warm and later cool water.
