How to buy Blythe online in the USA or outside Japan

I believe Blythe is the cutest and the most stylish doll on the planet, that’s why this blog is going to mention her once in a while.
Collecting Blythes has just one major drawback. You can’t buy it outside Asia, Australia or New Zealand, but there are several stores (in addition to Ebay) which do ship these dolls to America.
Here’s the list, if you know any more shops selling Blythe please add them in the comments to this post.
Thisisblythe.com - a very reliable store that has some rare dolls, awesome Blythe clothes and nice prices. Belongs to the official Blythe photographer Gina Garan who published several awesome photo albums with pictures of Blythe, such as Blythe Style, This Is Blythe
. Accepts payments in Paypal. Best of all, it’s located in the US.
More shops that ship to the USA and other countries after the jump:
HLJ - Hobbylink Japan, a store located in Japan that has worldwide shipping and very low prices. They usually have all the releases, except the limited ones, but this shop is very slow with accepting and shipping out your orders, and the dolls sell out very fast. Paypal or credit cards.
Dolls.jp - a smaller store, also located in Japan. Carries some Blythe dolls and Takara Licca clothes that fit Blythe. Payments in PayPal.
Angolz.com - they even carry some rare dolls, but they sell out rather fast, the prices are quite high though. The shop is located in Hong Kong. Accepts PayPal or credit cards.
Keep in mind that places like Yahoo Japan Auctions, Junie Moon Shop, Amazon Japan, Toys’r'Us Japan do sell Blythe online, but don’t ship outside Asia. Only Junie Moon ships to Australia and New Zealand too. Some sellers on Yahoo Japan Auctions do ship internationally, but the whole website is in Japanese.

Another source is KidRobot, which carries a very limited selection of Blythe(which always sells out quickly), but is also a great source for limited edition art toys in vinyl and plush: Kidrobot operates three store-galleries, one at 126 Prince Street in SoHo, New York City, another at 1512 Haight Street in San Francisco and a third at 7972 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Kidrobot products can also be found at numerous boutique retailers around the world. Visit Kidrobot online at

Try roborobo toyshop @B1-17 excelsior hotel. They have wide range of blythe dolls from bl-rbl. All blythe dolls and other toys are imported directly from japan. They also bring in the lastest blythe dolls 1-2 after released in japan. The shop owner goes to japan for supply twice or thrice a month. May friends and I buy our dolls from them at a very good price. They are also very accomodative and friendly.
Their website: www.roborobotoyshop.com is till under construction. Meanwhile can check ebay sg. under seller name: wimorn
Good luck!!
