Attention posh pooch owners! If you enjoy ice cream why does your dog need to be deprived? Today is Ice Cream Day so give your pets a treat.
- Frosty Paws makes frozen treats for dogs in two flavors: original (I can only guess what it tastes like) and peanut butter.
- Polar Pups offers tastes closer to what you would find at your local ‘human’ ice cream parlor: banana, apple, berry and again peanut butter.
- FrostBite Doggie Ice Cream is the first brand of organic ice cream for dogs. They offer sundaes for our four legged friends, complete with dog friendly toppings. FrostBite say that their ice cream can even heal dogs. They’ve got the richest variety of flavors: bone crunch, vanilla, peanut butter, peanut butter and bananas, peanut butter+bananas+mint, jalapeno peppers and cheese, vanilla and liver, salmon, chocolate chip and even a secret “power” ice cream based on Chinese herbal medicine, as well as sugar free and lactose free types.
- Alternatively you can make your own doggie ice cream from vanilla yogurt, mashed bananas and honey, just follow this quick and easy recipe by RecipesGoldMine.com
