Konatsu is one of my all time favorite illustrators, who creates pretty graphics and unique kawaii artworks in the style of traditional Japanese brush calligraphy.

“Aketsun!”: a Famous Doll Designer

“Aketsun!” is a doll artist famous among Blythe collectors. Her designs are colorful and memorable. Her doll won a runner-up prize in the first annual Blythe Beauty Contest a few years ago.

This year “Aketsun!” has designed a beautiful dress set for Blythe that will be officially manufactured and sold by the CWC. The dress set is called “Fall Whisper”.

Fashionably Cute’s Flickr buddy Luckysundae from Japan creates absolutely stunning bentos for her kids and takes mouthwatering photos of these works of art. Her pictures have even been featured in an English-language book about bentos called “Face Food”.
